TRACKING RECENT TERRORIST ACTIVITY

In reading so many posts today, I realized there are a lot of connected threads among the recent terrorism activity. Let's take a look:

  • Thwarted bombings in Britain
  • Prompted by arrests in Pakistan
  • Triggering arrests in Italy
  • Plus, apparent thwarted hijacking on flight to Qatar
  • US arrests of Muslim kids with cash, credit cards and flight manifests
  • Missing Egyptian students
  • and the shooting at the Jewish center in Washington state

I think it's a lot to think about. Not to be paranoid, but we may want to look back at some point and see what the last week or so has presented. So here it is... I'm going to try to track what's going on and the connections.

Please - let me know when something needs to be added and when I miss something.

There seemed to be a need to hone in on the cell phone issue, since a lot of arrests are going down.  Ths was compiled from news reports, folks at Free Republic with helpful leads and research that Debbie Schussel has compiled.  Thanks to all.

Good thought provoking post,

I think the only major terror incidents that you haven't covered is the Train bombing in India, the Somalia situation, and the merger of an Egyption Terror Group with Al Qaeda. Here is my link to that story..

Another good source on terror activity is CounterTerrorism Blog
