   Ha Ha. It seems Republicans, statistically, have more babies and that translates into more little Republicans... since 80% of children raised in politically aware households tend to follow their parents' lead.

In WSJ Online, Arthur Brooks writes that there's a "fertility gap" of 41% " [between Republicans and Democrats]. Over the past 30 years this gap has not been below 20%. Alarmingly for the Democrats, the gap is widening at a bit more than half a percentage point per year, meaning that today's problem is nothing compared to what the future will most likely hold."

Great stats in the editorial. Republicans do seem to be having more fun and maybe it explains why Democrats are so negative and cranky - they just don't get enough sex.
