They have an incredible page that allows you to click on your resident state and automatically see which states in the US offer reciprocity.
Go to http://handgunlaw.us/
Select menu button labeled "Create License Map"
Select your state
Click button "Build CCW Map"
And there you have it! All the states that will honor your concealed permit.
Love it. (Gun legislation vote change?)
HOUSTON — A state lawmaker who opposed a bill giving Texans stronger right to defend themselves with deadly force pulled a gun and shot a man he says was trying to steal copper wiring from a construction site, police said Monday. Miles, a Democrat, voted against a bill that gives Texans stronger legal right to defend themselves with deadly force in their homes, vehicles, and workplaces.
I love it when this happens to Democrats.
The Roanoke Times Removes Database of Handgun Permit Holders

Ooops. There yesterday... gone today. Now the concealed carry database has been taken offline at the Roanoke Times.
I said yesterday we should wait and see what happens. Didn't take long.
OUTDOOR LIFE COLUMNIST JIM ZUMBO, AR15s and BIG DOODOO
FIRESTORM! Instapundit posted about this the other day: Jim Zumbo, an Outdoor Like Magazine columnist, posted on his blog that AR type and AK rifles have no place in hunting... and went on to equate owners with terrorists and proposed that game regulators ban their use in hunting.
Well it hit the fan!!
- The major forums launched a "fire mission" blasting thousands of e-mails to his sponsors. The AR-15 forum has 1200+ posts and 43,000 views on the topic.
- Remington's CEO disowned Zumbo with a formal press release saying they are severing all ties to Zumbo and "his companies." That's now made its way into Bullet Points broadcast by the NSSF (National Shooting Sports Foundation). Even the Remington HOME PAGE carries the news.
- And now folks have noticed that The Outdoor Channel is running a Zumbo TV series and they are zeroing.
Cabelas is weighing in with what, supposedly, was a response to an email complaint about Zumbo: "While we fully support Mr. Zumbo’s First Amendment right of free speech, we believe his opinions on this matter are counter to those shared by Cabela’s and many of our customers. Cabela’s Legal Department is currently reviewing contractual obligations and commitments regarding our sponsorship of the Jim Zumbo Outdoors television show."
Zumbo's in big doodoo right now.
Oh boy - now another sponsor has pulled the plug... Mossy Oak.
