It Doesn't Look Like a Military Vehicle

Stars and Stripes shows these vehicles in use at Camp Humphreys in South Korea... "small white cars with high, egg-shaped bodies and wide, bug-faced fronts."
They use them, on base, freeing up gas-powered vehicles for other tasks.
Not exactly a tank, but cute. H/T to Why Go Sixty? for you car enthusiasts.
Marines - Fueled by the Fallen Race Car Team
The annual SEMA Show is going on now in Las Vegas, a mammoth show feature high performance auto parts and accessories. One of the featured vehicles is Fueled by the Fallen, a Marines Memorial Race Car Team effort to honor the fallen in Iraq. Lots more show photos at Why Go Sixty? .
What Would Jack Bauer Do?
Now this is interesting... from The UK Independent: "The United States Military Academy at West Point yesterday confirmed that Brigadier General Patrick Finnegan recently travelled to California to meet producers of the show, broadcast on the Fox channel. He told them that promoting illegal behaviour in the series - apparently hugely popular among the US military - was having a damaging effect on young troops."
Rummy

What a guy. Read in one article today that he is irascible. What a great word and description. I agree with Lumberjacks that getting Rumsfeld out of the DOD sure keeps him from being the full time target of an inquisition.
So now we can change tactics, as California Conservative point outs - Nancy Pelosi saying this isn't a war to win. Oh boy.
Michael Steele - the next RNC Chairman????

New Army Spots
Wow. Some great Army spots on TV these days. They are mentioned at Scipio and the video is at Black Five.
I saw a different one last night, a father-son conversation about how the son, basically, had become a man. Great stuff.
