Michelle Malkin put out the call for a response to the Huffington Post project to " capture the lunacy of the modern GOP.” See her post to see the original Dem offering. More at Are We Lumberjacks?, ACES, and more listed at Malkin.
I'm on that.
WOO HOO!!!

Can't Wait for the Debate
It Doesn't Look Like a Military Vehicle

Stars and Stripes shows these vehicles in use at Camp Humphreys in South Korea... "small white cars with high, egg-shaped bodies and wide, bug-faced fronts."
They use them, on base, freeing up gas-powered vehicles for other tasks.
Not exactly a tank, but cute. H/T to Why Go Sixty? for you car enthusiasts.
Dems And Media and their Perspective
"The United States might be the only country in world history that reverse-propagandizes itself, magnifying its setbacks and ignoring its successes so that nothing can disturb what Sen. Joe Lieberman calls the “narrative of defeat.”
Is this not so on the money? Great line from Rich Lowry at NRO. H/T to ACE.
TNR Slams Hillary For Manipulating, Attempting To "Muzzle" Negative Stories About Her
ACE brings to our attention a New Republic piece about how the Clintons control the media and the reporting. Well, in following the links back to TNR, what's most interesting are the COMMENTS! Man, those folks are NOT fans of Hill.
Hillary suppress the press? Shocking! Geez, guys, she's a thug...
I think American freedom would be safer with Osama Bin Laden in the White House than the two Clintons.
Hillary has jumped the shark.
Forgetting How War Works - A Must Read
FrontPageMagazine.com | Monday, November 12, 2007
If the West loses the current war against Islamofascism, it will be because some have lost all sense of what war really means.
Last week, in my weekly Sun Media column, I argued that it’s really not that big of a deal to make terror suspects like 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed essentially do what any kid does at Halloween when he bobs for apples – except in the presence of the CIA, and with the prize in the terrorist’s case being lifesaving information.
That column triggered an email campaign spearheaded by the Daily Kos -- the largest far-left blog in America – which appealed to the Sun’s new editor-in-chief from the Toronto Star, Canada’s largest leftist newspaper. As a result, after 2 years with the Sun and a hundred columns, my writing is now in search of a new home.
Venezuelans scramble for food amid oil opulence
Venezuelan consumers are increasingly facing periodic shortages of basic food products as the economy shows signs of overheating amid record revenues from an oil boom.
The shortages have increased skepticism of Chavez's economic policies and provided a political backdrop to campaigning this month for a referendum on a new constitution that he says is needed to make Venezuela a socialist state. Businesses say price controls on staple foods are so low they discourage investment and force stores to sell at a loss. The government says the problem is caused by growing demand by poor citizens who benefit from social programs, exaggerated media hype and food hoarding by unscrupulous businesses.
Warning. Warning.
