Indicting the NYT

spy.jpg Via American Thinker:

"Henry Mark Holzer, writing in Front Page Magazine, makes the very strong case that the New York Times will be indicted for violating the Espionage Act for publication of details helpful to the enemy in the story of wiretapping of internatrional phone calls involving an American end of the conversation.

I won’t bother to recapitulate his points because he makes them concisely and you should follow the link."

The link goes to Front Page Magazine ... wow, folks. Read it.

Dear Hillary - 1998 Memo DID warn of Bin Laden & US Airliner

Pants on Fire...

Woo Hoo!!!  Thanks to Free Republic, there's the Washington Post article that shows, yes indeedy, the Clinton administration got just the type of memo Ms. Hillary said she was SURE her husband would have responded to if he had ever gotten it.

Love it!

"A secret intelligence document prepared for President Bill Clinton in December 1998 reported on a suspected plot by Osama bin Laden to hijack a U.S. airliner in an effort to force the United States to release imprisoned conspirators in the 1993 World Trade Center attacks.

The one-page declassified version of the President's Daily Brief dated Dec. 4, 1998, contains chilling information -- gleaned by the CIA from several sources -- indicating that al Qaeda was working with U.S.-based operatives of its deadly ally, the Egyptian group Gama at al-Islamiyya, in the purported hijacking plot."

Hillary Clinton said. "I'm certain that if my husband and his national security team had been shown a classified report entitled 'Bin Laden Determined To Attack Inside the United States' he would have taken it more seriously than history suggests it was taken by our current president and his national security team."

Saudis plan to fence border with Iraq (and Israel can't ?)

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - Saudi Arabia is pushing ahead with plans to build a fence to block terrorists from crossing its 560-mile border with Iraq.  Read it - an interesting article.

HOWEVER - I thought I recalled that the UN wanted a resolution condemning Israel's building a protective wall against Palestinian terrorists.  And the International Court of Justice in The Hague ruled that the "security wall" Israel was illegal.

Waiting...

First Islamic Hospital In The Netherlands

 muslimnurse.jpg

I saw this in the news.... oh, boy. Myrtus has it, too.

Now these questions come to mind:

  • If many Muslim women are not allowed an education, will there be Muslim nurses?  ( I did google a photo on MinorityNurses.com,  so I guess so)
  • Will women get equal care?
  • Will the doctors report spousal abuse or rape?

Germany to Go Ahead with Opera??

 medusa.jpg

The Fat Lady Hasn't Sung

Chancellor Angela Merkel urged Germans on Wednesday not to bow to fears of Islamic violence after a Berlin opera house canceled a Mozart work over concerns some scenes could enrage Muslims and pose a security risk.

  • Merkel's comments, which echoed those of other senior German politicians
  • Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble told reporters after the conference the participants were united in their call for the opera to restart performances of "Idomeneo."

New Jersey is in WHAT country?

newjersey.jpg

"While some New Jersey towns have worked to make life more difficult for illegal immigrants, Edison is considering a policy that would prevent its police from cooperating with federal immigration authorities.

  • "no-coordination policy"  would prohibit township police officers from informing federal authorities about an individual's immigration status, and from assisting or cooperating with federal immigration investigations
  • policy could help ease tensions between the police and Edison's Indian immigrant community
  • would also make the township's immigrant community feel protected.
Read the entire lame article.

What is it about the Clinton administration and socks?

    clintonsocks.jpg

I know other folks noticed the socks. Or lack of socks.  Silly looking and unexpected.

Dr Sanity has more on Berger. And I was thinking about it today and I agree.
